Temitope Adegoroye


Temitope has been working extensively over the past few years within the agribusiness sector in Nigeria. He has led several market, industry, and company research, and carried out various surveys and interviews on several consulting projects. He has a deep knowledge of agricultural value chains in West Africa

Some of the studies he had conducted include Strengthening Agri-Food Value Chains for Nutrition in Nigeria, a research funded by the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex, UK; Immunization and Legumes in Nigeria, Yam Improvement for Processing in Nigeria and Ghana, studies funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF); and the Nigeria Early Generation Seed Study, an agricultural seed system study funded by the United States Agency for International Development.

Temitope is highly experienced in interfacing with a broad range of clients, including private grain traders in the formal sector and informal markets, private agribusiness networks, and grain associations such as the Nigerian Maize Association.

Temitope holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Agronomy from the University of Ibadan and received his undergraduate degree in Plant Science from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife.
